#kora | The Journey since 2011

Started in 2011 with just 35 riders riding to raise funds for charity, this ride is now the biggest charity ride in the Himalaya, with over 4000 – 5000 riders riding close to 175,000 kms every year, in over several locations in Nepal and around the world. ( for details mykorachallenge.com)

Cycle Connect Bhaktapur started independently organising Kora Bhaktapur in 2021 with 50 participants covering 50km distance in northern and eastern hills of Bhaktapur. In the second edition, Kora Bhaktapur 2022, almost 400 participants took part in the event in three different routes of 50, 75 and 100km encircling Bhaktapur. The ride in Kora Bhaktapur 2023 broyght together over 600 participants along all routes. This year we are also organising kora bhaktapur with the main aim to promote Bhaktapur as a national and international cycling destination. We have developed 50km circuit – Southern foothills of Bhaktapur, 75km circuit – Northern and Eastern Ridges of Bhaktapur and 100km circuit- our flagship century ride route encompassing the whole of Bhaktapur named as Cycle Connect Bhaktapur circuit.

We have been actively organising various cycling events and workshops every week since its existence a year ago and already have high reach in social media. (100k+ in facebook, 2k+ in instagram, 200+ email subscribers, 200 Viber Community Members, 300+ Messenger Chat Members and more than 2000 cumulative participation in our events). We have a very innovative approach and can represent our supporters in a highly visible manner.
