Assessing the Possibility of Cycling as a Travel Mode in Bhaktapur Municipality

We, the scholar-cyclists of Cycle Connect Bhaktapur, together with the Center of Study for Energy, Economics and Environmental Sustainability (COSEEES), Khwopa College, Bagiswori College, Bhaktapur Multiple Campus, and Tribhuvan University Central Campus Kirtipur, are conducting a study on the possibility of cycling as a travel mode in Bhaktapur Municipality.
This study aims to support the formulation of sustainable and cycle-friendly city policies
To make this initiative successful, we heartily appeal to everyone — students, teachers, professionals, and residents of Bhaktapur — to participate in this short survey.

Creating Pedestrain & Cycle Friendly Bhaktapur

We promote cycling as a transportation means along with recreation. We envision a town safe for people to walk and cycle daily to work. So, we organise events to promote cycle as a means of transport to increase accessibility among commoners, reducing reluctance to use it.
